L'ENJEU
Que faire contre la montée en puissance des mouvements religieux désireuxd'interdire les pratiques musicales?
Comment réagir face à la tendance culturicide et liberticide des fondamentalismes ? Ce sont ces questions qui sont à l’origine de ce projet. Un projet qui est aussi un combat pour la liberté, pour la liberté de créer, pour la tolérance.
C’est pourquoi j'ai voulu revisité la Symphonie du Nouveau Monde d'Anton DVORAK. C’est une œuvre d’une grande générosité, qui symbolise la richesse et la force que la musique permet de donner à ceux qui la jouent comme à ceux qui l'écoutent. C’est une musique qui nous parle de pont, et non de mur !
Pour ce faire, j'ai fait appel à des musiciens professionnels venus d'horizons différents (jazz fusion, world music, soul funk, rock progressif, classique) et j’ai voulu qu’ils rencontrent l'Orchestre des enfants de Quartier TAKAJOUER du Pays de Montbéliard (France). C’est une expérience unique, pour ces jeunes, que de partager un moment de création avec des professionnels.
L'Orchestre des enfants de quartiers TAKAJOUER est formé en sa majorité d'enfants issus de l'immigration. Grâce à une équipe de volontaires et de passionnés, qui croient en la valeur sociale de la musique, ces jeunes issus de milieux défavorisés ont appris à jouer de la musique sur les instruments à cordes, comme la contrebasse, le violoncelle ou le violon. Ils ont surtout appris que la musique pouvait élever et rassembler, mais aussi permettre de vaincre les préjugés.
PREMIERE ETAPE
Année 2016/2017
Il s’agissait d’abord de créer, d’arranger, d’enregistrer et de présenter l’œuvre au public et à l'ensemble des mécènes dans le cadre de la commémoration du 130ème Anniversaire de l’inauguration de la Statue de la Liberté. Cela eut lieu sur la scène NUMERICA à Montbéliard. A cette occasion, la prestation fut filmée et retransmise sur YouTube à la date anniversaire du 28 octobre 2016.
SECONDE ETAPE
Année 2017/2018
Cette phase était destinée à finaliser les
enregistrements des instruments, préparer le mixage, mixer, masteriser et confectionner un packaging original fait-main en vue de la parution publique du CD THE GIFT.
Le CD est à la fois un
produit discographique classique mais aussi le tremplin vers la troisième étape de ce concept car il a pour vocation d’en assurer une partie du financement.
Le CD ainsi, propage l'œuvre vers de nouveaux horizons.
Le CD est aussi le moyen pour celui qui en fait l'acquisition de devenir un acteur essentiel de la dernière étape. La sortie officielle a eu lieu le 17 mai 2018.
TROISIEME ETAPE
Année 2019/2020
THE GIFT, c'est l'espérance d'un Nouveau Monde meilleur, celui que nous espérons tous. Cet espoir est incarné par la jeune génération et aussi par la musique qui est un langage universel et rassembleur.
L’enjeu de THE GIFT, c’est le désir de faire de cette œuvre le support d'un spectacle unique et novateur que d'autres enfants porteront à bout de bras sur scène dans les municipalités qui désireront l'accueillir.
Des enfants représentant notre présent et notre avenir durant l'espace d'un spectacle d'une heure théâtralisé dont ils seront les principaux acteurs.
Le défi de ce concept est de laisser ces enfants s'exprimer en improvisant sur une trame construite pour eux.
CONCLUSION

THE CHALLENGE
What can be done against the rise of radical religious movements that want to ban musical practices? How do we react to the culturic and liberticidal tendency of fundamentalisms? These are the questions which are the origin of this project. A project that is also a fight for the liberty for freedom to create and for tolerance.
That's why I wanted to revisit Anton DVORAK's New World Symphony. It is a work of great generosity, which symbolizes the richness and strength that music gives to those who play it as well as those who listen to it. It's a music that tells us about a bridge, and not a wall!
To do this, I appealed to professional musicians from different backgrounds (jazz fusion, world music, soul funk, progressive rock, classical) and I wanted them to meet the Quartier TAKAJOUER Children's Orchestra of the Pays de Montbéliard (France). It is a unique experience for these young people to share a creativity moment with professionals.
The Children's Orchestra of TAKAJOUER neighborhoods is mostly composed of children from immigrant backgrounds. Thanks to a team of volunteers and enthusiasts who believe in the social value of music, these young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have learned to play music on stringed instruments, such as double bass, cello or violin. Above all, they learned that music can not only upgrade and reassemble, but also help overcome prejudices.
FIRST STAGE
Year2016/2017
At first It was to create, arrange, record and present the work to the public and all sponsors on the occasion of the commemoration of the 130th Anniversary of the inauguration of the Statue of liberty, which took place at the NUMERICA stadium in Montbéliard.
The occasion was registered and was broadcasted on YouTube on the anniversary date, October 28th 2016.
SECOND STAGE
Year 2017/2018
This phase was intended to finalize the recordings of the instruments, prepare the mix, mix, masterize and make an original hand-made packaging for the public release of THE GIFT CD.
The CD is both a classic record product but also the springboard to the third stage of this concept because it aims to provide part of the funding.
The CD thus, spreads the work to new horizons.
The CD is also the way of involving those who aquire it to become the major actors for the last stage of the project.
The official release took place on May 17th 2018.
THIRD STAGE
Year2019/2020
THE GIFT is the hope of New and better World, the one we are all hopping, and which is embodied by the young gereration. Also the music is universal and gathering language.
The challenge of THE GIFT is the desire to make this work the support of a unique and innovative show that other children will carry at arm's length on stage in the municipalities who wish to welcome it.
Children representing our present and our future during the space of a theatrical hour show of which they will be the main actors.
The challenge of this concept is to let these children express themselves by improvising on a plot built for them.

音楽は人を堕落させる、楽器は悪魔の道具だと、音楽の実践を禁止するというような過激な宗教的ムーブメントや極端なナショナリズムが台頭に対して、私たちは何ができるだろうか？文化的および自由的な主義を破壊するファンダメンタリズムの傾向に対し、私たちはどよのうに反応したらいいのだろうか？こういった疑問が、このプロジェクトの起源でした。このプロジェクトは創作することの自由、思想の自由、万人に平等に与えられるべき自由の為の闘いでもあるのです
だから私はAnton DVORAKの新世界交響曲を再訪したかったのです。私にとってそれは、楽器を奏でる者にとっても、それを聴く者にとっても、その豊かさを共有することのできる音楽の持つ力の象徴だったからです。「音楽の持つ力」それは決して「壁」ではなく、私たちをつなぐ「橋」なのです。
まず私は、ジャズ、フュージョン、ワールドミュージック、ソウルファンク、プログレッシブロック、クラッシックと、あらゆる分野で活動するプロのミュージシャンに参加を呼びかけました。これにモンベリア地区の児童オーケストラTAKAJOUERのパートを加えました。プロのミュージシャンと子供たちとの共演はユニークで素晴らしい体験の共有となりました。
児童オーケストラは、ほとんどが移民の子どもたちから構成されています。音楽の社会的価値を信じるボランティアと愛好家のチームのおかげで、不利益な背景を持つ子供たちは、ダブルベース、チェロ、バイオリンなどの弦楽器で音楽を演奏することを学びました。とりわけ、音楽はアップグレードや再構成だけでなく、偏見を克服するのにも役立つことを学びました。
プロジェクトの第一段階
2016/2017年
作曲、編曲、アレンジ、録音。
ニューヨークの自由の女神像はアメリカ合衆国の独立100周年を記念してフランスより贈呈されたもの、アメリカ合衆国の自由と民主主義を讃えたものですそしてパリの自由の女神像は、フランスに住むアメリカ人がフランス革命100周年を記念してフランスに贈ったもの。いずれも自由と平等への称賛、友情の象徴でした。こうして、楽曲のタイトルは「THE GIFT」に決まりました。
そして、自由の女神像、創業130周年の記念の一環として、ミュージシャン全員によるコンサートがモンベリアールNUMERICAで開催されました。この時のパフォーマンスは、2016年10月28日の記念日にYoutubeで公開されました。
プロジェクトの第二段階
2017/2018年
この段階は、楽器の録音を完成させ、ミックスを準備し、ミックスし、マスタリングし、ギフトCDの一般公開用にオリジナルの手作りのパッケージを作ることを目的としていました。このCDは古典的なレコード商品でもありますが、資金の一部を提供することを目的としているため、このコンセプトの第3段階への道のりでもあります。
こうして、CDは仕事を新しい地平に広げます。
CDを購入していただいた方々、私はあなた方をプロジェクトに巻き込みます。最終ステージであなた方は主役となるのです！
CDは2018年5月17日にリリースされました。

The Giftは、新しくてより良い世界の希望です。私たちが望んで、若い世代によって具体化される希望です。そして、音楽は、普遍的な世界共通の言語です。
The Giftのチャレンジ
このプロジェクトに賛同し歓迎してくれる地方自治体、市町村に、子供たちがユニークで革新的なショーを行うことを支援します。演劇時間の空間で現在と未来を代表する子どもたちが主演者になる予定です。このコンセプトの挑戦は、これらの子供たちが自分のために作ったプロットで即興で表現するということです。
